So I’m stood outside on the phone. There’s a bloke peering into the big industrial sized bins out the front of the studio. He keeps glancing over at me while I continue my phone yap. I think it’s kinda odd he is so interested in the bin but let it go.
I hang up and he calls me over to “Check it out dude!”.
There is a high pitched wailing noise coming from a bin bag in the top of the bin. That’s weird enough but then the bag starts moving. At this point I start getting a little worried. I’m not shy of thinking the worst in a situations: abandoned baby or kitten or something etc. I ring the buzzer and call everyone outside to check it out.
James steps up, tears the bag open, i recoil as a red light emanates from within the bin bag, along with a volume increase on the wailing and a fair amount more movement.
It’s a Duracell bunny dressed as a fireman with a smoke alarm strapped to it’s back.
Scared the hell out of me. So we brought it in, recorded the damn thing and put it on a track currently named “Fire”……….All about the terror coincedences.
Paul was in today and dub planked all over the shop. Made me realise I have been playing bum notes on the piano tracks for a year straight. Must learn and remedy before morrow eve.
James just said he wanted a guitar track “A bit more in the pocket”. I take that as fair warning to run for the hills, and drink more.
I miss my girls and my family but it’s all sounding a wonder, what there is currently done. Jones is outdoing himself all kinds of regular and we aint over ballyhooing the lot so it’s a rum old affair at present.
Hope yr all well.

Sam
